Cat Painting?! What the Hell is Wrong with You?!

This Bastard reporter received notice of what I believe to be a horrid injustice to our feline friends.

What is this you ask?  Well, of all things, it’s Cat Painting!  Yes, you read that correctly.

I can’t understand what some people are thinking!  I can’t understand why some people are allowed to live and breath and reproduce!

Cats are born beautiful!  They have lovely fur coats!  They are precious and gorgeous!  Why the hell would anyone paint them?!

If that’s not bad enough, these morons pay upwards of $15,000.00 per paint session and have to have them retouched for new fur growth every 3 months!  What the fuck?!

So here, have a look at what idiots have done to naturally beautiful felines who should’ve scratched their owner’s and the artist’s (if you can call them an artist) eyes out:

So, to these evil pet owners, I say, “STOP IT!  THIS IS HORRIBLE!  CATS ARE GRACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL CREATURES WHO DO NOT DESERVE TO BE PAINTED FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT!  THEY ARE NOT TOYS!  THEY ARE LIVING, BREATHING, FEELING BEINGS WHO DESERVE FAR BETTER THAN THIS BULLSHIT!”

In this Bastard reporter’s opinion, there are far too many stupid people on this planet with far too much money to burn.

  1. It might not be fun for the cat, but they look DAMN good! Creepy, but aesthetically pleasing. Do they do dogs?

  2. WOW. I did not know this was being done to our kitties. hmmm. I’m gonna have to think on this one- is it ‘cruelty’? I don’t know- these people look like they really love and care for their cats. Can it hurt the cats? I don’t know….people are painting themselves, directly on skin- to no ill affect, far as I know…at least the kitties have the barrier of fur (except they’re licking it….) I don’t know anything about the paint used. VERY INTERESTING.

  3. Are you sure these were not done through the magic of Photoshop? This looks like something that someone who knows the program well could do. When I was in school for graphic arts we did things like this in Photoshop.

  4. This is a very funny spoof and is all done with photoshop. The people who did this have done several other funny spoofs with cats. I look forward to their next effort.

  5. These are not actually painted cats, and you are getting your knickers in a twist over nothing.

  6. It’s a modern illness emptyness lead us to create such stupid things. Wake up! Why not respect nature as it is ?

  7. You can paint your cat on canvas you don’t need to paint on him/her!

  8. I guess people just don’t read. These were
done in PHotoshop. The cats are not
painted and if you looked carefully at
the photos you can see it

  9. It is done in Photoshop. No cats were actually painted to produce these photos. If you look closely you can tell. I have worked with photoshop for years and it takes a lot of patience to create photos like this. The creator must have done a good job since everyone seems to think they are real

  10. Some people are saying these were done in Photoshop. If so, this comment is irrelevant. But if owners are actually painting directly on to their animals then…

    a) Is the paint actually harmful to the animal (either to the skin or when licked)?

    b) Is there any detrimental effects at all to the animal or is it just like painting on to human skin?

If the answers to the above are a definite ‘no’, then I see no problem with it. Yeah it’s silly and maybe they have too much time on their hands, but if it does the animal no harm then I don’t have a problem with it. I see enough poor little rat-sized dogs in nail polish and mini jumpers staring out of their ownesr handbags!

  11. Hi mate. I truly just like the writing of your texts as well as your current site all in all! The write-up is actually extremely clearly written and also effortlessly understandable. Your current Graphic style is impressive as well! Would be great to discover exactly where My partner and i are able obtain this. If possible keep up the excellent work. All of us need a lot more these webmasters just like you on the internet and also much less spammers. Fantastic mate!

  12. Your writing is superb and gives food for thought. I hope that I’ll have more time to read your texts . Regards. I wish you that you frequently publish new texts and invite you to greet me

  13. I think it is slightly funny/weird/cool/odd. Yeah, they are obviously photoshopped. I think if it doesn’ hurt/harm/agigtate/annoy the cat its fine. There are paints and dyes that are made especially for pet art and for skin and do no harm to pets. They are waterbased dyes and are no worse than us chugging down food dyes!
There are plenty of cats who wouldn’t mind hvaing their fur painted, some would love the attention! There are cats who would protes to such things, and that should be respected.
If a cat doesn’t mind being loved and pampered by its owner and the dye/paint isin’t dangerous or harmful to the kitty I think it’s fine.

Anway, how cool would it be to have your very own Pikachu! 😉
